I’m a homemaker, wife and lifelong Southerner. An avid reader, I especially enjoy historical Christian fiction and mysteries. My mom gave me a love of history and a great start on researching my family genealogy. I love visiting historical sites and keeping abreast of history in the making. God has blessed our nation with a diversity of majestic mountains and canyons, sparkling lakes, waterfalls and oceans, lush green forests and southwestern deserts and I enjoy visiting these areas and hope to travel more in the future. My faith in Christ is my passion and I daily seek to serve him more faithfully. Though I often fall short, I am eternally grateful for his forgiveness and love. God loves each of us and he’ll never give up on you wherever you are in your life if you’ll just open your heart to him. I pray for God’s blessings for each of you.

Steve continues to do better with walking. I just have to remind him to always use the walker. His mind is still 'back and forth' but that is the dementia going back and forth. I probably will bring him home and hopefully I can find some part-time help. I am not sure I would last more than 6 months without help. My sister is against me bringing him home and she is right but there is not much I can do about it. I am paying a huge monthly payment. Several 'aides' have quit there and nobody wants to work. I am simply in a nightmare that keeps getting worse. And, it hasn't been fun since 2010! Glad to hear your husband is doing better. It doesn't surprise me jhe had an evening appt for a test. The medical field is a mess right now. I do hope your Husband's brain scan comes out okay. Your weather sounds nice to me as we continue to have hot and humid weather which is typical for my area. Hi Peggy congrats on the Woohoo points! I just got mine a couple of minutes ago. It may just be cooler overall your way at this time; just depends upon the humidity I suppose. Oh yea I'll be taking a few more floats down the river before summer is over. This coming Saturday I'll be at the Western Idaho Fair; opening day is tomorrow when I'll be at work for 12 hours. It will be a few degrees cooler in the coming week so it should be fine as the humidity will be below 10% as usual. I'm taking a 5 day weekend off work starting on Saturday through Wednesday but am not travelling anywhere. Will get in some extra rest along with a few activities including the Pat Benetar concert at the fair on Wednesday night. Hope you have a good day, Friday and weekend as well!
